林書豪效力的籃網今天在主場遇上全聯盟戰績第一的勇士，只打了半場好球，雖然上半場一度取得16分領先，但下半場防守和失誤問題不斷發生；而勇士則提高專注力與防守，把握得分契機，終場以117：101逆轉擊敗籃網，奪下6連勝。
勇士教頭柯爾（Steve Kerr）說：「上半場對方打得很有侵略性，我們的防守則不理想，而且整體注意力不集中，打得很掙扎，但下半場的防守和專注度都有提升，封鎖對方攻勢。」
儘管勇士一度以16分落後，但柯爾並不擔心，他說：「我相信球員會重新站起來，展現奮戰精神。」最終球員沒讓他失望，在下半場打得精采。
勇士後衛柯瑞（Stephen Curry）說：「上半場我們打得很糟糕，但是下半場大家獲得更多的能量，有效止血，打出信心。」而且沒有任何一支隊伍想讓對方取得大幅領先，因此柯瑞說：「當我們意識到必須阻止對方攻勢時，就要更專注在防守上。」
第三節籃網失誤頻繁，單節發生11次失誤，讓勇士有機可趁將分數超前。勇士前鋒杜蘭特（Kevin Durant）說：「下半場開始我們重新組織進攻，設法壓迫對方攻勢，把握他們失誤的機會得到分數。」
>籃網教頭亞特金森（Kenny Atkinson）則表示，勇士防守很好，打得很有侵略性，球隊必須把防守做得更好才行。
